Every year I receive countless emails and calls asking me how
they can get involved in music producing, audio engineering, and
similar jobs. I meet and work with interns every day at studios,
and have great conversations with them about future plans.
Our goal with
our Music Production Coaching is to help you find the particular
job you love, develop that skill in the real world, and most importantly,
make a REAL paying career out of it.

Where Planted
You
may hate this part: Many times, this dream job does NOT include
moving to Nashville or some other music center. Sure, coming here
to learn is not a bad idea at all. But the real answer to a real
paying job in this work is finding a niche, and that more often
than not means doing it outside of a music town where EVERYONE
else is doing it.
Before we worked
here as Creative Soul, we built our reputation for production
quality and artist development up the road outside of Lexington,
KY. Moving to Nashville was a logical step for our burgeoning
company as we started using studios and engineers here often.
But we started locally as I raised my family and where competition
was relatively low.
In these coaching
sessions we will work on how to find your particular strength,
where to study and get info, how to be the best at what you do,
how to find clients, and how best to serve them. We talk about
how to charge for this work, how to budget your finances and equipment,
and how to keep overhead low so you MAKE money.
We KNOW this business.
We've been specifically producing music for a living for almost
20 years (and only about 6 years has been here in Nashville.)
